I want to teach the Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth Class! What are my next steps?

Thank you for you inquiry about teaching the Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth Class! The first step you'd need to take would be to apply for the Evidence Based Birth® Instructor Program. Currently, only EBB Instructors have the opportunity to be trained to teach the Full EBB Childbirth Class.


Currently, the Evidence Based Birth® Instructor Program is not a certification agency. The EBB Instructor program is an advanced program for people who are already licensed, certified, or trained through another organization as either a nurse, CBE, lactation specialist, doula, or midwife/physician. To be eligible to become an Evidence Based Birth® Instructor we do require at least one year of experience as one of the listed birth workers, experience, and/or education in social justice, believe in the mission of Evidence Based Birth®, and have a passion for teaching to close the evidence-practice gap!
